  • Various small scale and medium scale industries in rural and urban Pakistan are responsible for textiles, carpets, embroideries, jewelry, cutlery, and other sport goods
  • The industry is facing limited profits, economies of scale are not available and the costs of production are high. Exploitation by wholesalers. Electricity is not available in rural areas.
