Eles provocavam o esgotamento dos recursos naturais.

As comunidades caçadoras-coletoras  eram comostas por grupos de seres humanos que tiravam da natureza tudo o que precisavam para sobreviver, através da caça de animais e da coleta de frutas, grãos e sementes. Como podems ver, esses seres humanos retiravam recursos naturais da natureza, o problema é que eles não consiguiam repor eses recursos, levando uma área a sofrer um esgotamento dos recursos naturais que possuia.

Quando a área tinha seus recursos naturais esgotados, os caçadores-coletores migravam para outra área e recomeçavam o processo de esgotamento.
