6. The neglected little kitten was as light as a feather from having no food.

Simile. A comparison made between the kitten and a feather using the word "as".

Explanation:

Similes and metaphors are two ways comparisons are made. The only difference is that similes use "like" and "as" to compare while metaphors do not use the two comparison words.

Hyperbole is when the description is given using too much emphasis, way beyond what it really is. The description is done with exaggeration.

Personification is when non-living ideas or things are given human attributes, characteristics, etc.

Which details develop the central idea that the grimms
Eva8 [605]

Answer: Some of the main details which develop the idea that the Grimm Brothers collected stories to preserve culture are:

Their desire to recorded stories because few people were interested in collecting and preserving them.

Their intention to demonstrate how language and customs can create a bond between people.

And their decision to make a genuine reproduction of the stories in order to reveal truths about the conditions people lived in when the tales were recorded.

For the Grimm brothers, the main objective for publishing the compilation of the oral stories which made them world wide famous was to transmit people's souls, beliefs and imaginary through the centuries. They didn't want to follow the style of the Romantic schools of their time, they simply wanted to show the oral tales and its folklore heritage as real as possible.

should other people opinions affect our own choices or destinies ? ( 8 - 10 sentences explaining why or why not ) pls help me w
Virty [35]

Answer:

No

Explanation:

Other people’s opinions shouldn’t effect our own choices or destines but there is no way for them not to. What others say shouldn’t influence our actions, decisions, or future especially if it doesn’t effect them in the long run.If a decision has to do with your life you’re the only one who can make a decision about what happens with it. Someone’s opinion should only matter in a situation if the situation has to do with them. Even then it depends on the situation for how highly you weigh their opinion. You can listen to someone’s opinion but their opinion shouldn’t be the sole reason a decision was made. Contrary to that people’s opinions will always influence things we do weather it’s going against someone’s opinion or catering to it. In society opinions are things people worry about constantly and effect highly on everything we do so it’s really hard to out run them. In general opinions shouldn’t dictate anything in someone’s life, but they constant are. It just matters if the person decides if their own opinion matters more than others.
