If it's a one sided mirror it would be Opaque. Opaque means that zero shreds of light pass through it, so if you hold up a regular mirror because the light shown on it only bounces back instead of going directly through making a hand held, or kitchen, common mirror in general opaque.

Sergio [31]

Mid ocean ridges which contribute to the process of seafloor spreading Form as a result of two tectonic plates moving apart (or diverge). As the plates move apart, a crack is formed in the rock between the plates.

Magma rises from beneath and flows up through the crack and spreads out over the crack where it cools as it meets the sea water and solidifies adding to the edges of the sideways moving plates.

A long chain of mountains called an oceanic ridge is formed as magma continues to pile up along the crack.

In your opinion, is the nuclear membrane part of the endomembrane system? Why or why not? Defend your answer.
ipn [44]

Answer:

The correct answer will be- true.

Explanation:

The endo-membrane system is the system which is formed by the group of the membranes and organelles.  These membrane and organelles are considered endomembrane as they work together to perform the inter-related functions like the packaging, modification ad transport of the lipids and the proteins.

This system comprises of the nuclear membrane also as the outer nuclear membrane is continuous with the endoplasmic reticulum (organelle) directly and helps the synthesis and modification of the proteins and lipids. other organelles are the Golgi apparatus, vesicles, lysosomes and endosomes.

Thus, option-true is the correct answer.

Some bacterial cells live in very cold environments (such as the arctic ocean), but they still require membrane fluidity like th
Dima020 [189]

Answer and explanation;

-Arctic microbes would have membranes with more unsaturated fatty acids; increasing the unsaturated fatty acid ratio would make it harder for the fatty acids to pack together. This will keep the membrane fluid at lower temperatures, which will benefit organisms that live in very cold climates.

-Microorganisms are adapted for optimum functioning in their normal physiological environments. Any extreme change in environmental conditions from the optimum inflicts a stress on an organism. For this reason they must accommodate a variety of changing conditions and stresses in their environment in order to survive and multiply.

Does cellular respiration requires nutrients or glucose?
matrenka [14]
Every cell of the body needs oxygen for the process of cellular respiration by which the energy in food is converted into energy that can be used by the body's cells. During cellular respiration, glucose and oxygen are converted into carbon dioxide and water, and the energy is transferred to ATP
