Winners embrace hard work. They love the
kipiarov [429]

Answer:

The quote means that only the ones that put in the effort and work constantly get what they want. On the other hand, the ones that do not work hard will not get anything, and since they perceive the work as something displeasing, they would not do it, which leads to not succeeding in something specific.

Winners perceive the work and effort as something that will bring a reward, and they enjoy the way to that reward, that is why they keep going and succeed, but losers do not enjoy it and can not see the gratification at the end of the way, so they quit.

Explanation:

Lou Holtz is a man of many talents: he is a very successful coach, author, and motivational speaker.

In this quote, the message that he is conveying is that people should work hard to succeed and should not perceive this effort as something displeasing. If we see effort and perseverance as something displeasing, we will not get rewarded. To not perceive our efforts as a punishment, we have to enjoy what we are doing.
