A lot of people have a hard time facing their emotions head on. Listening to their favorite music or the music that expresses how they feel helps a person show their emotions. The effect would be that they would probably feel trapped and think that they have no one to talk to about what is going on in their life.

Music often creates a escape to people who use music as a coping mechanism. if the person didn’t have music there mental health would probably get worse.
