Answer:

7.

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find the range, you need to:

1. Arrange the set of numbers in order from smallest to largest.

2. Identify the smallest and largest numbers in the set.

3. Subtract the smallest number from the largest.

Therefore, your answer is 7.

427+316

step one- add 400 and 300=700
step two- take 3 from the 16 and add it to the 27 and add - 27+3+13=43
step three- add 43 and 700

I think that the common core way just adds more steps and makes it more complicated than just adding it regularly, but that's just me.

Find the total cost of these items, including tax. Round
solniwko [45]

Answer:

Flashlight ; = $2.99

Water bottle = $1.50

Toothbrush = $1.29

Compass = $3.29

Step-by-step explanation:

Sales tax = 7%

Item: _____ price

Flashlight ; = $3.20

Water bottle = $1.61

Toothbrush = $1.38

Compass = $3.52

Total cost = price of item + sales tax

Sales tax = 7%

Total cost = (1 + 7%) * price of item

Total cost = (1 + 0.07) * price of item.

Total cost = 1.07* price

Flashlight = 1.07*1.29 = $3.20

Water bottle = 1.07*1.50 = $1.61

Toothbrush = 1.07*1.29 = $1.38

Compass = 1.07*3.29 = $3.52

Write −12 as a ratio of two integers.

Enter your answer as a reduced improper fraction.
nikklg [1K]

Answer:

Assuming there are no other parts,

the Whole = A + B is the denominator:

Whole = 3 + 9 = 12

Part A = 3 and Part B = 9 are numerators for each fraction.

The fractions are then:

3/12 and 9/12

Meaning:

Part A is 3/12 of the whole

Part B is 9/12 of the whole

Reducing the fractions, it is also true that:

Part A = 1/4 of the whole

Part B = 3/4 of the whole
