As Christians, our trust should not be put in man, we should rather trust on God and act right before him because only this can help us here on Earth and hereafter. I remember failing to enrol for an entrance examination into the university because of financial incapacity. I went to the fellowship with high hopes thinking my problems are solved, it is sad that no one in a congregation of hundred members could come to my aid. They all gave an excuse or another.
This is similar to Everyman's case in the play, no one in the fellowship could assist him when he was in dire need. Therefore, as a devout christian, I have learnt not to put my trust in man but in God, and to ensure that my good works are capable of speaking for me in eternity.
