Answer:

Argumentative writing → An essay argues that light on the field would add to the quality of life in the community.

Claim → The soccer field would get more use because the lights would allow night games.

Counterclaim → Some people think it is not worth the expense

Evidence → According to a poll, more than one third of the citizens approve the cost of adding lights to the soccer field

Reasoning → Our town should place lights near the soccer fields so teams can play at night.

Explanation:

I have been able to place each sentence to the correct term.

An essay that argues on a subject is usually classified to be argumentative writing. The statement claimed that "<em>The soccer field would get more use because the lights would allow night games</em>". This is actually a claim. But an opposition to the claim is known as counterclaim. So, when "<em>Some people think it is not worth the expense</em>", then it is counterclaim.

Then an evidence was given which we see from the poll that was carried out. Evidence usually comes with facts and data which is what the poll provided.

The speaker actually reasoned or thought that their "<em>...town should place lights near the soccer fields so teams can play at night</em>". This is reasoning.

Answer: character vs character

Explanation:

In literature, it should be known that character vs. character conflict, is when there is a conflict between two characters. The conflict can result into a physical altercation or can also result in differences between the characters.

Since Jill and Naomi are best friends, but they aren't speaking, then this is a character vs character conflict.

Write a paragraph about your late grandmother. NO COPYING. It must be high school worthy. Plus I'll give the BRAINLIEST to the b
siniylev [52]
Here is a paragraph based on your question:
I haven’t met my late grandmother throughout my life. I wish that I could’ve met her because she symbolizes so much for me. At my early childhood, my parents would talk about her and her prodigious journey of becoming who she really is. She was a woman with great heart and great compassion, and a microcosm for all women. She never had much freedom around her life since my late grandfather actually forced her to be with him. But everyday, she will grow stronger and stronger and extend through the line of Mother Earth. A great example of those who have been virtuous to many of her people. I could’ve met her but she has been deceased. However, no one will ever erase the memory of an old picture from their head for it will fly away forever.

This a paragraph about my late grandmother. Hope this helps :)
