There are many reasons why a country would go to war.

  1. A country would want to go to war to gain more territory/land.
  2. A country could go to a Civil War to separate itself from another part of that same country.
  3. A country could go to war to get there revenge on another country for there actions.
  4. A country to go to war with another country to gain more wealth.
  5. A country could go to war because they had some conflict with another country that needed to be taken care of.
