A coyote is a wild dog that looks like a small wolf. Coyotes live in nearly every US state, and in most of Canada as well.

A coyote is a canine, a relative of the domesticated dog and the wolf. Coyotes are distinctive, different from wolves, because of their relatively small size, delicate paws, and large ears. The word coyote is Mexican Spanish, from an Aztec root, cóyotl, or "trickster." The scientific name of the coyote is Canis latrans, "barking dog" in Latin.

Another informal meaning of coyote, used mainly in the US southwest and Mexico, is a smuggler of illegal immigrants.

How do you know that the season where you live has changed, say from winter to spring or from summer to fall? List four evidence
oksano4ka [1.4K]

Answer:

Why do we have seasons?

The Earth is tilted 23.5 degrees on its axis, which affects the distribution of the sun’s energy across the surface of the planet. As the Earth orbits the sun every 365 ¼ days, the axis is always pointing in the same direction into space, with the North Pole toward Polaris, the North Star. Around June 22, the northern hemisphere is angled towards the sun, and receives the most direct radiation and the most energy. This is the start of astronomical summer in the northern hemisphere and winter in the southern hemisphere.

The religion practiced by most Canadians is __________. A. Buddhism B. Islam C. Protestantism D. Roman Catholicism Please select
Lelechka [254]

Answer:

Correct answer is D. Roman Catholicism.

Explanation:

Most of people in Canada are Christians, but D is correct because almost 40 percent of Canadians are Roman Catholic.

There are almost 25 percent of Protestants, while when it comes to Islam and Buddhism, they together are making around 5 percent of population.

That is why all other answers are wrong.

Reason why Catholicism is widespread in Canada is because Canada was in hands of France until 1763.
