Answer:

The true statements about the windmill scene in the excerpt of Dom Quixote related to the image are: B: It includes opposing viewpoints. E: It is a metaphor for something else. F: It reveals a multidimensional character. In regards to B: Dom Quixote makes himself a fool, and his friend Sancho thinks he is really mad. However, when he explains his points of view, that to him, the windmills are giants, he expresses that everything depends on the way a person looks at things, and that things can changes all the time. In regards to E: The metaphor is related to the opposing viewpoints. The battle against the windmills looks as if its pointless and a waste of time. However, Dom's point is that even though the battle is lost, anyone has the right to fight for their beliefs. Lastly, in regards to F: While Dom Quixote seems to be a crazy, he does have some insights that reveal his social criticism. Between his madness, vanity  and  sometimes humility,he does have his own vision of an ideal life.

Which linking verb phrase would best connect the hydrogen bonds term in the map to one of the other terms?
IrinaK [193]
Hydrogen bonds form between a hydrogen that is engaged in a polar covalent bond with oxygen or nitrogen (thus carrying a partial positive charge) and a different oxygen or nitrogen also engaged in a polar covalent bond (and thus carrying a partial negative charge). I hope my answer has come to your help. God bless and have a nice day ahead!

Which statement would best serve as a claim for an argument?
Nat2105 [25]
Think about what a claim is. a claim is something that you state, even if you don't have proof. choice C is a fact, not a claim--it would be used as evidence to support a claim, but it doesn't serve as a claim itself.

i would say that B is the most appropriate claim to argue that people should be more nutritionally knowledgeable. choice D is almost a counterargument, in a sense, because it lists a flaw with food labels. choice A is a statement, but it can be proven with evidence--one could look at a food label to search for the listed items.
