Answer:

The author's tone is that he wants to "dive deep" into ocean exploration because the ocean is a mysterious underwater world that holds secrets that may help humanity. According to the text also feels very excited and amazed towards the ocean. " Our next big leap into  the unknown can be every bit as exciting and bold as our  pioneering work in space. It possesses the same “wow” factor:  alien worlds, dazzling technological feats and the mystery of  the unknown." This quote proves just how much passion Cousteau has for the beautiful big blue.

____ of the footballers was
Nonamiya [84]

Answer:

(e) Each

Explanation:

In English language, each is a word use to describe one of two or more distinct individuals considered separately but having a similar relation and often makes up an aggregate. Thus, each refers to everyone or everything that belongs to a group, regarded and identified separately.

In this context, the footballers are the group of people and each of them were given a cash prize for their victory in the championship.

Hence, the most appropriate word to fill the blank is "each" and the complete sentence would be written as;

"Each of the footballers was given a cash prize for winning the championship."

Being miss independent Essay 400 words
iVinArrow [24]

Answer:

Saving mother nature is an important thing. Waste products and polluted air are big problems to our land. Wasting water is also a big problem. If we continue, we will eventually pollute the entire world.

Cars produce fumes, which pollute the air. Car companies are working on electric cars to stop this problem. Every time you throw a piece of plastic n the ground, it takes years to dissolve. Every single thing we do matters, even cutting  down a tree.

If we want to continue using this earth, we need to protect it. Next time you have garbage, put it in a trash can. When you brush your teeth, turn off the water. A healthy earth is a happy earth, and it would make others happy too.
