Answer and Explanation:

Although it is a recent technology, drones, or flying robots, are used in agriculture for a certain time, as they are able to do jobs with high precision providing benefits not only to the agricultural sector, but to the environmental sector as a whole. Drones can be great allies in the fight against climate change, through activities such as:

  1. Locate fire outbreaks: Whether in the fields or in the forest, when drones fly over areas, they can catch fire outbreaks, or areas that have great fire potential, allowing the fight against these fires to be carried out early, reducing the risks of deforestation and the emission of gases that stimulate climate change
  2. Decrease in the use of pesticides: Drones are able to spray agricultural areas with a smaller amount of pesticides. This, in addition to making production healthier and saving costs, allows the environment to have less impact and be less degraded.
  3. Check areas that need and go through a reforestation process: Deforestation is one of the major providers of climate change and to reverse this situation, drones can be used to identify areas that need reforestation quickly and accurately by quickly mapping the topography of the region to carry out analyzes that show the best way to reforest.

Answer:

  • Robots could help prevent the overuse of pesticides and fertilizers by providing precise and continuous data for farmers regarding their field conditions.
  • Robots can survey large expanses of land efficiently overhead without farmers having to drive or fly vehicles powered by fossil fuels.
  • If disease and damage threaten crops, robots have the ability to detect the threat early. Early detection improves the efficiency of the farm and helps reduce waste.
  • Robots supply the data necessary to optimize the crop yield. Farmers will clear fewer new swaths of land if their current fields are optimized and running to full capacity.

How long does it take (in minutes) for light to reach saturn from the sun, a distance of 1.486 × 109 km?
LekaFEV [45]
Formula for speed of light is:
c= \frac{d}{t}
Where:
c=speed of light = 300000 km/s
d=distance
t =time

Rearranging formula for t and calculating:
t= \frac{d}{c}  \\  \\ t= \frac{1.486*10^{9} }{300000}  \\  \\ t=4953.33s \\  \\ t=82.56min

Why did the New England colonies export fur to Europe
lana66690 [7]

The fur trade is a worldwide industry dealing in the acquisition and sale of animal fur. Since the establishment of a world fur market in the early modern period, furs of boreal, polar and cold temperate mammalian animals have been the most valued. Historically the trade stimulated the exploration and colonization of Siberia, northern North America, and the South Shetland and South Sandwich Islands.

Today the importance of the fur trade has diminished; it is based on pelts produced at fur farms and regulated fur-bearer trapping, but has become controversial. Animal rights organizations oppose the fur trade, citing that animals are brutally killed and sometimes skinned alive.[1] Fur has been replaced in some clothing by synthetic imitations, for example, as in ruffs on hoods of parkas.
