I could certainly help, but without any more details, I can only give a brief overview.

Islam was founded by a name named Muhammad (PBUH). Muhammad (PBUH) was a trader in the city of Mecca before he received a message from the Archangel Gabriel, the Holy Koran. Muhammad (PBUH) then began to preach this message and was driven from his home city of Mecca to the city of Medina, where he continued to preach. It was also during this time, on a trip to Jerusalem that Muhammad (PBUH) was said to have taken his night journey, ascended to the highest heaven to conference with Allah and the other prophets of the Old and New Testament (such as Adam, Isaiah, and Jesus). Finally, Muhammad led and army and returned to Mecca and there began to control a vast empire before his death (PBUH).

I realize this is short and not very detailed, but if you want more, please, I am always available. <span />
