Answer:

B.  A faster pace would have been more appropriate for the speech’s content and audience.

Explanation:

Mateo is speaking to the audience and refers to the audience as US indicating he is talking to fellow students about the injustice of the strict snow days.

Children are more likely to get bored listening to a talker with a professional tone or if the speaker is being more casual then the audience would think the speech is not important allowing the audience to miss the speech before it has even begun.

But by making the speech faster you are allowing the audience to begin to believe on their own about the injustice and it begins to work up their blood pressure.

Hitler was very good at getting the people to believe in what he wished because he made his speeches short and fast.

What is the symbolism in the book, "Persepolis"?
worty [1.4K]

"The gold key is a pretty horrific symbol of the lengths the government will go to in order to brainwash children into enlisting in the military. They tell them that this key will get them into heaven if they die at war. This harkens back to ancient religious wars, like the Crusades, where dying a martyr was the best possible thing a boy could do. Although, in reality, all it means is that they died as pawns of the government.

This key is an especially repulsive symbol because it holds absolutely no intrinsic value—it's "a plastic key painted gold" (13.34). The Iranian military couldn't even give kids something of value to lure them into war, something they might be able to melt down for money. Of course, what value does money have to a martyr? You can't spend it when you're in the theoretical halls of heaven, with more virgins for the taking than you know what to do with."

Yanka [14]

Answer:

My three favorite memory strategies are first: attention, second: retention and the last is try to remember the information.

Explanation:

The attention have to be selective, because you have to pay attention only to the important thing. Then you can write in a paper or in a notebook what you learn, underline what is important . There are too many ways to memorize the information.

when you watch images is more easy to remember that. I try to say the visual memory.

And finally the forms to remember are with test or  write

schemes, or only repeating.
