1.)Why did Georgians have such a strong tie with President Roosevelt? So there are many reasons on of them being due to the fact that he stayed in the state when he got diagnosed with polio. Also he died of polio in the state of Georgia. And he also grew up in Warm Springs Georgia as a child. And these are maybe the reasons as to why people though of him as their adopted son.
