it is the smartest to photograph an animal in Zoos and Aquariums, as there are alot of animals getting "Rescued" and taken care of in those environments. Another reason why it's better is because of the variety of animals there are and the training they receive, which makes them perform excellently ( although I prefer animals to get freed I hope this helped you)
