From my knowledge about Egypt and Mesopotamia, Egypt depended on one river: The Nile River. This river constantly overflowed and Egyptians developed a way to make advanced irrigation systems. Meanwhile, in the Mesopotamian region, The different cultures there depended on two rivers; The Euphrates and Tigris Rivers. Mesopotamia was in a valley in Asia while Egypt is mostly in a desert in Africa.
