They're figureheads really: give the country an image and a sense of identity. Economically, they generate a lot of money via tourism when opening a part of their palace to the general public. In the past, they were the government; the supreme authority and ruler of the people. They made laws and spent money on improving their peoples lives. In my opinion, it's just a coveted dictatorship and and a way of controlling the masses. If you want a clearer idea of what they do, you needn't look further than politicians. Hope this has helped somewhat :)
Answer:
True
Explanation:
Both Martin Luther and John Calvin were hugely influential in European religous history. They challenged the authority of the Catholic Church, and the Pope in Rome, and inspired state leaders to reject catholicism, and embrace protestanism in their territories.
These events led to several violent episodes, including the Thirty Years' War, which was fought mostly in the Holy Roman Empire (modern day Germany) among Catholic and Protestant states, and killed millions.
The Protestant Reformation had a great impact in the American Colonies. The English colonies became mostly protestant, and only Maryland had a significant catholic population. The Spanish and Portuguese colonies, on the other hand, became catholic because their home countries were so.

The poem makes me feel calm even though the poem does not follow the rules of grammar and has lots of figurative language most cannot understand. Its like the poem makes sense when you read it but when you think about the lyrics it does not. i feel the poem is talking about earth and how they like it so much, but realises its a dream.
