Explanation:

Research design known as descriptive research will be used. This is because, a research that wants to know the number of hours that high school students spend on social networks, will be carried out in a non-experimental way, through the collection, analysis and interpretation of data provided by the students themselves. In this case, it would be interesting to divide the students according to the year of high school they are in, thus forming four groups.
