Conformity is following established social conventions, laws, or rules. Examples of conformity include wearing a uniform for school, or following the rules of a religious sect. They could also be as basic as using certain utensils to eat, or greeting someone with "hello".

Obedience is complying with requests or commands, typically via submitting to someone else's authority. Examples of obedience include an employee carrying out a task for a supervisor, or a dog obeying a command from its owner.

Submission is the act of yielding to an opposing authority or will. Examples include a city surrendering to foreign invaders, or someone giving up to a superior opponent during a wrestling match.

Subservience is the willingness to obey others and put their purposes first, without question. Examples of subservience include a butler working for a millionaire who must attend to his every need, or the outdated expectations for female subservience in certain parts of the world.
