Young Fredrick Douglass was a bit frightened and afraid to do anything but what he's told to do in his early years of life. He had seen his aunt be tortured and was scared to see that happen to himself so he stayed undercover for a long time.
The most important part about your paragraph is the thesis or the topic sentence. Once you have established this make sure your paragraph always relates back to your topic and make sure to provide examples of your topic. You then want to end your paragraph with a sentence the restates your thesis or topic.
