The correct answer to this open question is the following.

You did not include the options for this question. However, we can answer the following.

The group that was part of the rising middle class of the Sung period was Shopkeepers.

The gentry and the peasants were the two big divisions of the social classes during the Song period in ancient China.

The Emperor of China was at the very top of the pyramid. He was the most powerful man in the empire and the absolute ruler of the lands.

In the second place were the families who owned big portions of land or better known as the gentry. Then, the peasants. They were the ones that farmed the agriculture fields and worked for the landowners.

The merchants were at the bottom of the pyramid. They were able to earn some good money in trade transactions but an old belief system of the time said that the merchants took advantage of other people's work and made a profit selling the products.

However, these merchants or shopkeepers flourished during the Song period.

Babies that are three months old are capable of learning this, and they retain the knowledge for one month if it is not reinforced. By this point, an infant's vision is good enough that they can see the mobile above them, and not just their mother's face, which was the range of their vision at birth. Their cognitive processes are also developed enough to connect their action to the mobile's movement.

What did the Selective Service Act accomplish?
Finger [1]

The Selective Service Act of 1917 accomplished the goal of enlisting enough men to serve in the military to be successful during World War I.

Further Explanation:

Once America was exposed to the Zimmerman Telegram and its message, it was inevitable that they would join World War I. In order to be fully prepared for this, the US government had to ensure that they had enough soldiers to fight against the central powers. This is when president Woodrow Wilson enacted the Selective Service Act.

This was a conscription law, meaning it essentially forced men between the ages of 21-35 to register with the US government for military service. Each man was given a number. If there number was picked by the US government, then these men were expected to show up for military training and to serve in the war.

This would not be the last time America used a law like this in order to increase the amount of men in the military. This strategy would also be used during World War II and the Vietnam War.
