Since you asked how to solve this, I will put the answer at the bottom.

You might not think the same way as I but I think in steps.

<h3>(1) Calculate how many times the bacteria divide in eleven hours</h3>

The bacteria divide every 20 minutes, and will therefore divide three times every hour, 60/20 = 3.

If the bacteria grow for eleven hours, each bacterium will divide 3 times per hour × 11 hours = 33 times.

<h3>(2) Add the orginial size of bacteria into the equation</h3>

(This part is edited)

(orginial size)*2^number of divisions

10*2^{33\\}

=85899345920

A Copy of machine produces 80 copies in 5 minutes. How many copies would be produced in 40 minutes?
BlackZzzverrR [31]
The answer would be 640. To find the number of how many copies are produced in 1 minute you have to write 80 divided by 5 which equals 16. Now you multiply 16 and the 40 minutes which gives you 640 copies.

The process that produces Sonora Bars (a type of candy) is intended to produce bars with a mean weight of 56 gram. The process s
QveST [7]

Answer: z= -1.636

Step-by-step explanation:

When population standard deviation is known, then the test statistic is given by :-

z=\dfrac{\overline{x}-\mu}{\dfrac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}}

, where \overline{x} = sample mean, \mu = population mean, n=sample size , \sigma = standard deviation

As per given,

z=\dfrac{55.82-56}{\dfrac{0.77}{\sqrt{49}}}\\\\ z=\dfrac{-0.18}{\dfrac{0.77}{7}}\\\\z=\dfrac{-0.18}{0.11}\\\\z=-1.636

Hence, the e test statistic to see whether the candy bars are smaller than they are supposed to be : z= -1.636

Which line contains the point (1,-3)
Rzqust [24]
There are infinitely many lines that have the point (1,-3).

A line can be expressed as:

y=mx+b, where m=slope and b=y-intercept..

Our only restriction is that it passes through (1,-3) so

-3=1m+b

So as long as the sum of the slope and the y-intercept is equal to -3, that is one of the infinite number of lines that passes through (1, -3)

So we could also say b=-3-m then our infinite lines are:

y=mx-3-m, now any real value of m creates a specific line that passes through the point. ie the first few are

y=x-4, y=2x-5, y=3x-6 or even y=x√2-3-√2
