If one were to revolve their life around one thing, it is usually a source of happiness for that one person, but what if that one thing can also be a major source of pain and danger? Teens these days look to their smartphone for an escape from the real world and forget that they aren’t the only ones with this unlimited access. Things like dangerous people, to much exposure to certain aspects and even being targeted via peers are all risks teens take every time they open their phone. Social media can lead to bullying, peer pressure and even self hatred due to certain beauty standards and that is one thing that parents can’t fight. The internet.
