The question is missing some parts but here are the 3 answers:

1. Tell how you can analyze Jason’s reasoning.
If you want to analyze Jason's reasoning, you could a) examine yourself the same questions that Jason did and see if you would come with the same responses and used the same breakdown or b) analyze Jason's answer to look if he did an error or wasted a vital detail and made a supposed mistake.

2. Critique Jason’s reasoning
From the option b above. Jason first calculated 12 x 14 = 168. This calculation is correct, but what did he get? He needed to get the perimeter of the bedroom since it was only the wallpaper border, not the wallpaper itself - so getting the perimeter was needed. So Jason made an error here.

3. Explain why Jason's reasoning to use an overestimate does or does not make sense
Using an overestimate is a good idea- in circumstance some of the tape gets broken, he will have some left. But his calculations are incorrect. His overestimate will be a lot greater than would be real - he would be left with a lot of leftovers and use too much money.

You have a lead ball with a mass of 360 g. The density of lead is 15 g/cm3. What is the volume of the ball?
tekilochka [14]

Recall that density = mass / volume.

Let's plug our known values into the equation.

15 g/cm^3 = 360g / volume

First, let's multiply both sides by volume

Volume * 15 g/cm^3 = 360g

Divide both sides by 15 g/cm^3

Volume = 24 cm^3

11. A cylinder has a radius of 4x + 2 and a height of 5x + 4. Which polynomial in standard form best describes the total volume
AlladinOne [14]
The first choice, 80πx³+144πx²+84πx+16π is correct.

The formula for the volume of a cylinder is V = πr²h.  Using the expressions we have for radius and volume, we have:

V = π(4x+2)²(5x+4)
 = π(4x+2)(4x+2)(5x+4)

Multiplying the first two binomials, we have:

π(4x*4x+4x*2+2*4x+2*2)(5x+4)
= π(16x²+8x+8x+4)(5x+4)
= π(16x²+16x+4)(5x+4)

Multiplying by the last binomial, we have:
π(16x²*5x+16x*5x+4*5x+16x²*4+16x*4+4*4)
= π(80x³+80x²+20x+64x²+64x+16)
= π(80x³+144x²+84x+16)
= 80πx³+144πx²+84πx+16π

What is the value of r in the equation 2(2r + 8) = 3r + 16?
spayn [35]

Answer:

r=0

Step-by-step explanation:

2(2r+8) = 3r + 16

2×2r + 2×8 = 3r + 16

4r + 16 = 3r + 16

4r + 16 - 3r = 3r + 16 - 3r

r + 16 = 16

r + 16 - 16 = 16 - 16

r = 0

Hope this Helps!!!

In a circle, an arc measuring 130° is what percentage of the circumference of the circle<br>
SIZIF [17.4K]

Answer:

≈ 36.1%

Step-by-step explanation:

In any circle the following ratio is equal

\frac{arc}{circmference} = \frac{centralangle}{360} = \frac{130}{360} , thus

percentage = \frac{130}{360} × 100% ≈ 36.1%
