When completing an online shopping transaction, a typical shopper takes 5 seconds to select each product and another 60 seconds
natulia [17]

4 products are being purchased.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Time taken to select each product = 5 seconds

Time taken to complete check out process = 60 seconds

Total time taken for a transaction = 80 seconds

Let,

x be the number of products purchased.

Time taken for each product*Number of product + Time for check out process = total process

5x+60=80\\5x=80-60\\5x=20

Dividing both sides by 5

\frac{5x}{5}=\frac{20}{5}\\x=4

4 products are being purchased.

will the opposite of a number always,sometimes,or never be greater than the number itself??????? can someone do an example and a
weeeeeb [17]

When the number is positive, its opposite is less than the number.

9 ==> -9 . . . . . . less
72 ==> -72 . . . . less
324 ==> -324 . . less

When the number is negative, its opposite is greater than the number.

-8 ==> 8 . . . . . . greater
-3/4 ==> 3/4 . . . greater
-429 ==> 429 . . greater .

We've seen that the opposite can be less, and it can also be greater.
I guess that means that it's sometimes greater.

Find the surface area of the prism
scoray [572]
Lets find the area of the 2 rectangles on the left and right side.
8*7 (2) = 112 (Both rectangles in total)
Now lets find the rectangles on the front and back.
13*7 (2) = 182
Now, the top and bottom ones.
13*8 (2) = 208
Add them all together.
112+182+208 = 502
The surface area is 502.

<h3>Slope = 10</h3><h3>y intercept at (0,750)</h3><h3>x intercept at (-75, 0)</h3>

=====================================

Explanation:

The function f(x) = 10x+750 is the same as y = 10x+750

It is in the form y = mx+b where m = 10 is the slope and b = 750 is the y intercept. So that covers the first two parts of the answer.

The x intercept is found by replacing y with 0, then solving for x like shown below

y = 10x + 750

0 = 10x + 750

10x + 750 = 0

10x = -750 ....... subtract 750 from both sides

x = -750/10 .... divide both sides by 10

x = -75

So x = -75 plugged into the function leads to y = 0

Meaning that x = -75 and y = 0 pair up together to get the point (-75,0) which is the x intercept. This is the location where the line crosses the x axis.
