The passage tells schooling throughout the year will help students meet their goals. There should not be so much details in nine months. In addition, the elimination of long breaks, especially summer breaks, will reduce "learning losses" dramatically, and the additional time spent at the beginning of each academic year for the re-learning of previously learned content.

While many still argue that there is no proof of school year round and its association with higher education, these people must open their eyes to see that the performance of the students in these schools is consistently higher than that of the students who attend schools with conventional 9 months calendars.
