How was the policy created by the Americans with Disabilities Act changed after it was implemented?
nata0808 [166]

The correct answer is C. Congress amended it to broaden the protection it offered.

Explanation

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 was a law enacted by the Congress of the United States Republic to establish parameters that prohibited discrimination against disabled people. However, this law must be amended because the courts where this law had to be interpreted, do it erroneously and the rights of disabled people who were looking for a job were affected and were discriminated against for their condition. Therefore, the correct answer is C. Congress amended it to broaden the protection it offered.

What was Senator William Borah purpose for the Treaty of Versailles
ira [324]

Senator William Borah was an outspoken Republican United States Senator, one of the best-known figures in Idaho's history. A progressive who served from 1907 until his death in 1940, Borah is often considered an isolationist, for he led the Irreconcilables, senators who would not accept the Treaty of Versailles, Senate ratification of which would have made the U.S. part of the League of Nations.

Which political economic system do you think is the best balance of freedom and equality? Why?
AveGali [126]
Whilst Liberalism is founded on ideas of freedom, equality and liberty. Social Democracy is the best balance of freedom and equality because it promotes social justice in a capitalist economy and a liberal democratic view. Also, communism has, historically, a poor reputation for freedom and equality. For example, China and North Korea are current communist countries and Russia previously was a communist country after the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917.
