Answer:

  • y=-1/3x+2

--------------------------

m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

=\frac{2-1}{0-3}

=1/-3

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

y-1=-1/3(x-3)

y-1=-1/3x+1

y=-1/3x+2

The answer is y = -1/3x + 2

Because the y intersect is located at (0,2) we know that the b value in the formula y=mx + b is 2 and using rise over run we determine the slope to be -1/3
