With respect to Critical Thinking, what is one example of egocentrism and one example of sociocentrism you noticed in your life,
Scrat [10]
Egocentrism means giving value to own self-interest more and less or no regards to other's interest. One example of Egocentrism I encounter in my life is that people thinks that their own point of view is right and ignorant of other's point of view and more possibilities of solution of the problem other than own. Another word - Sociocentrism means giving value to own group's interest and assuming our group is the right one. One example of this I observed in life is the school/university you came from that such belief that we are better than them because we enrolled or came from this school. These things create a barrier in critical thinking because you exclude some possibilities and opportunities that may others possess. Some techniques that can overcome the barrier are open communication and socializing with other peer groups. These techniques can lead you to open yourself to the society and to other people and learn new knowledge with them.

Both Lam and Bosch employed symbolic elements in their work. What role do you think symbols can play in helping to visualize ima
Tamiku [17]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

The role I think symbols can play in helping to visualize imaginative worlds is very important. Indeed, I think many times a symbol can substitute many words that should be carefully chosen to explain something.

A symbol, on the other hand, can sum up many words in one image, and that is the power of symbols.

Talking about Jeronimous B*sch, the famous Renaissance painter from the Netherlands, we can appreciate the use of symbols he used in great paintings such as the "Cr*cifixion of St. J*lia."

Using iconography, we should be able to read symbols. This concept of iconography was created by Erwin Panofsky to deeply analyze artworks focusing basically on important symbols that had meaning for the people of the time when the work was created.

Through analyzing symbols, we can understand the meaning and the emotions projected in the artwork.
