The author goes further to explain how great the punishments of their disobedience unto God were. Lucifer fell into hell and became Satan. "Now thou art Satan, and canst never win Out of thy miseries; how great thy fall!" Adam also fell from the position of high esteem that he was placed and was driven out of his beautiful abode, Eden.
