Can I just please have people agree that spamming 'answers' to genuine questions for the points are annoying and completely absu

rd?
I literally just saw someone spam the same question multiple times in different questions just to get points.
it's just internet points. They're useless. They're not gonna get you into college, you're just wasting other people's time who need actual answers.

What might the Toleration Act reveal to us about the state of affairs in the colony at the time? How did the events taking place
Westkost [7]

Answer:

The Toleration Act of 1688 reflects that there was a high degree of religious intolerance both in Britain and in the United States.

In fact, religious intolerance is the main reason why the New England Colonies were founded in first place: they were settled by Puritan Separatists fleeing religious persecution.

The American colonies were largely independet of Britain, but they were still influenced by British affairs. The Toleration Act led to the development of a more tolerant culture in the colonies, because it attracted many British settlers from herethodox denominations who were now protected by the act.

Why do the complex characters in Shakespeare's plays appeal to a wide audience?
Leviafan [203]
The characters in Shakespeare's plays are widely loved by the masses because they are flawed and larger than life. They are on one hand easy to relate to and connect with, but on another hand very grandiose and almost of a fairy tale nature. They are certainly not predictable, nor do they collectively represent the best qualities of human nature. pretty much we can relate to them so we love them.
