Why do you think an interviewer would dislike being asked questions such as "What does this company do?" or "How long do I have

Answer:

Because they should know what job they are applying to, and not just show up clueless because it shows the interviewer that you are less likely to be hired, therefore wasting their time. And asking how long until you get a raise when you aren't hired yet seems a little extreme, and gives off a bad impression!
