In "Saving Tobe" they used a time when people were walking to move across country to move. Not like today when you can use a truck and drive. The author added or revised history by adding a story of someone almost drowning and an adult saves him and is upset because it had happened before and he could not sav the person. He relived it like it was the same with a different outcome. "what the hell did you think you were doing going out there, leaving us?" "I know your men die in water!"
