Using context clues’ I think word means?????

(The word is liberation)
alexgriva [62]

I’m not sure what the certain scenario is for this question, but I do know “liberation” means “free from imprisonment”. Perhaps the character has achieved something that has been holding them back from success, or cut off ties from someone who influences them negatively, or quite literally escaped something/someone that had captured them. I hope this helped.

Which verb moods would be best to combine in an essay on what life would be like if all wars were ended?
GenaCL600 [577]

The verb moods that would be combined in an essay on what life would be like if all wars were ended are the indicative and subjunctive moods.

Explanation:

The verb mood indicates the attitude of the speaker towards what they are saying. In English, there are three verb moods: indicative, imperative, and subjunctive.

 • Indicative mood is used in most statements and questions. For example: Unfortunately, there are still wars going on around the world.
 • Imperative mood is used to express requests and demands. For example: Close the door!
 • Subjunctive mood is used in hypothetical or contrary-to-fact statements. Statements of this sort consist of two clauses: the if-clause and a clause containing the consequence of the action described in the if-clause. For example: If there were no wars, the world would be a better place.

In an essay on the given subject, statements that refer to what the situation around the world is like right now would be written in the indicative mood. When talking about what it would be like if there were no wars, we would use the subjunctive mood.
