Yes as a matter fact it can, social media can ruin your social skills if you are on it too much. It can cause mental health issues such as; depression, social anxiety, de realization disorder, and more.
With social media weather you’re an influencer or a viewer, you can start lacking physical communication and you lose social skills.

Yes, social media can destroy real life communication. Some people may get too used to texting on phone that they don’t want to meet and talk in real life. This can cause them to lay around all day and practically only text. Some people make protests about removing social media.
