Jordan has been around since 1985 while Nike has been known since the spring of year 1972. Even though Jordan was produced later, Nike is still creating new styles that seem more attractive to people then Jordan styles, such as the colors and designs.

In comparison to both brands, Nike has just about any type of sportswear and shoes needed for almost every sport, while Jordan only sells shoes for certain sports(basketball, baseball) and carries not as much sportswear.
