The motivation for killing Mademoiselle Source was mainly for her inheritance and assets and he was simply evil.

Explanation:

Guy de Maupassant breaks the stereotype of a personal character of an orphan in the story "Orphan".

The young man in this story is raised by Madam Source and always provided him everything he wanted. He too lived a reserved and facade life in front of her and also an ungrateful murderer who becomes a mayor later.

The motivation for killing Mademoiselle Source was mainly for her inheritance and assets and he was simply evil. Till the very end, no one really knows who he truly is and what he is capable of.

How might laughter play a helpful role in someone's medical treatment?
ICE Princess25 [194]

Laughter can play a helpful role in MANY things, especially medical treatment. The reason it plays such a helpful role is because it makes people feel more happy and tends to take someone's mind off of what is going on around them. Once laughter is applied during a medical treatment, it is done to make someone feel less worried about what could be going on around them or how the treatment may go. This is commonly used by surgeons and kemo-therapy doctors when a patient is worried about what may happen.
