In the first World War, we lost close to 120,000 men in the two years we were involved. In my opinion, anything we can do to prevent more Americans dying in future wars should be undertaken.

This includes avoiding future overseas wars that only marginally affect us, maintaining the peace that has been gained with the defeat of the Central powers and coming up with ways to ensure that future world wars are prevented.
