He was referring to the fact that the settlers couldn't farm and that they were rude to the natives who knew how to so Powhatan said the natives couldn't help the settlers anymore. hope that helps :)

OK, well the Spanish sent out conquistadors, also means conquerors.Their mission was to find gold, and any other forms of wealth. Land wouldn't be a bad thing either.<span>They never had much interests in legends, but Ponce de Leon DID want to find the Fountain of Youth.</span>
