my philosophy on art is that "true" art is any work that expresses a piece of oneself. Based on this philosophy, any expression of oneself by its basic nature is based on ones experiences l. Ones experience build who that individual is : their opinions , their emotions, their lifestyle, everything. When creating their art, a little piece of that gets exposed (whether consciously or subconsciously). You get a little glimpse into their phsych, their experiences that molded them into who they are!
