The policy also brought further disadvantages to the society in current days, making the idea of families less predominant, as younger generations have been raised in families without siblings and have little to no developed ideas about the future that may cross their path. The state on the other hand raised further power over the people by controlling a traditionally important aspect of their lives, and created a more fearful and obedient generation.
