Dolphins are capable to use the echolocation. Echolocation is the ability of an organism to detect sonar waves that allows the dolphin to visualize the path underwater. Dolphins interprets the sound waves echoes that bounce off objects near to them and hence help them in interpreting the route beneath the water. Sound waves travels at a very fast speed in water as compared to the air, therefore reflection of sound waves can be traced quickly for navigating beneath the water.

It is the reflection property of sound waves that helps the dolphin in moving under the water
