Brums [2.3K]

Answer:

Bolivar was able to free Venezuela from Spanish rule and abolish slavery.

Explanation:

Simon Bolivar was the most influential and famous among the leaders of the war for the independence of the Spanish colonies in America. He is the national hero of Venezuela. He began his military activity in 1810, being already quite a mature man. Bolivar joined Francisco de Miranda, who rebelled against the Spaniards, and soon became one of the most respected leaders of the rebels. Among the other leaders of the rebels, he stood out for his education and knowledge of military art. On July 5, 1811, rebels proclaimed Venezuela an independent republic. After the defeat of the republic by Spanish troops in 1812, Bolivar settled in New Granada (now Colombia), and at the beginning of 1813 the rebel army led by him entered the territory of Venezuela. In August 1813, his troops occupied the capital of Caracas and soon the Second Venezuelan Republic was created, headed by Bolivar. Venezuelan National Congress awarded Simon Bolivar the title of Liberator.

Helga [31]

The correct answer is: "allowing goods to be shipped further".

The spread of the internal combustion engine allowed to developed faster means of transport with great capacity, which enabled to transport large amounts of goods at a low cost. Companies were able to cheaply transport their products to further places, therefore the markets where they could operate widened significantly. A progressive market integration process took place as technologies allowed the development of more efficient production and transportation systems.

What do peasant farmers do when they lost their crops?
Talja [164]

Answer:

What do peasant farmers do when they lost their crops?

Peasant farmers often depended on subsistence agriculture - this means that the farmers primarily grew crops to feed themselves and their families, rather than selling their crops for economic gain.

So, if the peasant farmers lose their crops, they will have nothing to eat. The peasants will probably go hungry and perhaps starve.

And what common pattern do we see when the masses are starving? They revolt ! I suppose that's a bit of a stretch, but in general, the peasant class would definitely be upset at having no crops to feed themselves and their children. Such tensions will be directed at their leader or "King" who is supposed to be prepared for any disaster.

Wouldn't people think, "The leader has everything he wants and can get anything he does not have, can't he share with us?"

Anyways, that's how I would interpret this question.

Hope this helps!
