Answer:

As sunlight of all colors passes through air, the blue part causes charged particles to oscillate faster than does the red part. ... More of the sunlight entering the atmosphere is blue than violet, however, and our eyes are somewhat more sensitive to blue light than to violet light, so the sky appears blue.

Who was the first european nation to build a an empire in the united states?
mestny [16]
No European nation built an "empire" by its proper definition, but Great Britain was the first to exert major power over the continent having the 13 colonies under their control for some time. Spain could also be seen as a major player as well as they owned much of the Midwest territory that was eventually bought by Thomas Jefferson that came to be known as the Louisiana purchase.

Two effects of the gold rush ?
Orlov [11]

Answer:

poverty and disease

Explanation:

due to the gold rush, many people travelled west to dig for gold. they made pop up towns  which had no laws or healthcare. this created a lot of disease as when they were travelling west, most medications and resources would have been thrown away to make their carriages lighter so the horses could carry their weight after a long time.

poverty was also a major factor as not many people would actually find gold so they'd end up working for bigger companies to find gold and would get paid barely anything.

I hope that was helpful, friend :)
