It is good and important to have a growth mindset because it can help you overcome obstacles you may face when learning something new or developing a new skill. Growth mindsets understand the importance of persistence and determination. By changing the way you think, you can change the way you learn.

Answer to the Second question

I will try to have a growth mindset this school year by facing the challenges that come my way, by paying attention to my words and thoughts, by acknowledging and embracing my imperfections, view challenges as an opportunity, replacing the word “failing” to “learning”, learning from other people mistakes, making a new goal for every goal accomplished, celebrating my growth with others, and emphasizing growth over speed.

Goal setting with a growth mindset is centered around believing you can improve many areas of your life. When you have a growth mindset you believe that you can make significant changes with enough effort and determination, even in areas where you are not “naturally gifted”.
