what does the prediction about the she-wolf and the hound tell you about dantes purpose in writing the inferno?

The she-wolf kills all that approaches her but a magnificent hound will come and chase her back to her origins, Hell.

She-wolf represents the sins of incontinence. Incontinence is the lack of self-restraint. Doing what you want, whenever you want, regardless if it is right or wrong, ever if it harms others as long as you get what you desire.

Dante's purpose in writing Inferno was to compare his journey in the story to what happened to him in real life. He was  a famous poet and was very influential. However, political enemies took over and made him go into political exile.

His writings reflected the kinds of people he encountered and the possible consequences of their actions in the afterlife.

Why might a film adaptation of a short story choose to omit the physical description of a character?
Nina [5.8K]
The answer is D. Why would they need to describe someone who is being seen? That's like introducing someone to your friend, and describing your friend to this new person. They can see your friend, so you don't have to explain what your friend looks like! I hope this helps.
