The Fall of Constantinople, the capital of the Byzantine Realm and one of the foremost heavily invigorated cities is about Sultan Mehmed II, ruler of the Hassock (Ottoman) Turks, driven the attack on Constantinople. The drop of Constantinople was a tremendous blow for the Christian world but, in spite of the fact that Pope Nicholas V called for a campaign to recapture the city for Christendom, no concerted military reaction was made.
